WordPress is an easy to use, ever evolving web publishing platform. Originally created as a blogging platform is now one of the most popular website /blog platforms on the internet.

In simple terms – a WordPress theme is what controls the look & feel of your website, as well as the functionality. The great thing about themes is that at any time you can change your theme without adversely affecting the your site’s content.

In short, no. WordPress.com has a limited number of themes. Our themes will only work with self-hosted WordPress available at wordpress.org. For WordPress installation instructions please click here http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress. If that looks daunting – many web hosting companies offer a one click install which is very easy to do.

Yes, they do. We update our themes regularly to make them compliant with the latest WordPress release.

Yes. We provide a blog page template with all of our themes.

Yes. Video can be added in any page or post using shortcodes to embed externally hosted video. It is best to host your video on Vimeo or Youtube and then embed the code. In addition, video can be added within any widgetized area using shortcodes.

Yes. You are not required to provide any credit or links back to Theme Poetry – although we would love it if you did! Our themes do not contain any encrypted code, so removing the links is an easy process by editing the footer.php file – there is a video tutorial on this site to show you how.

Yes. The theme background color and image can be changed easily using the Customizer.

Yes. These can be changed in the Customizer

Purchase the theme by clicking the purchase button and following the prompts – Remember to enter your promo code to receive your discount if you have one. After payment has been made by paypal you will be redirected to a download page – you will also be sent an email containing your download links.

We do not issue refunds. Our themes are built to work with the current version of WordPress and you can see them operating on our demonstration installations. Since our products are intangible, irrevocable digital goods, all sales are final and we do not issue refunds under any circumstances with the exception of an instance where a mistaken charge has been made. As a customer, you are responsible for understanding this term upon purchasing the product.

All of our theme documentation is hosted on the Theme Poetry website. We have tried to cover everything however if information is not available you can submit a support request via the form on the page Contact Support.

Support is available 24 hours a day on our website – We offer theme related support for 12 months after the purchase of a theme.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you find a theme bug via our Support Form. We endeavour to fix bugs within the shortest time possible after notification.
